To get to StoryBook Hill Children’s Zoo via public transportation, start at the Dubuque Intermodal Transportation Center located at 950 Elm St. Check the local bus schedule for the number 3 bus (the North End route). Board the bus heading towards the North End. Stay on the bus for approximately 25 minutes and get off at the stop on North Cascade Road near the entrance to StoryBook Hill Children’s Zoo. From the bus stop, it’s a short walk to the zoo entrance, which is located at 12201 N Cascade Rd.

For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from a local rental shop in downtown Dubuque. From there, head north on Main St until you reach the intersection with North Cascade Rd.
