From Bray, walk to the Bray Bus Station located on the main street (about a 5-minute walk from the seafront). Take the 185 or 45A bus towards Wicklow Town. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as it may vary. Get off at the stop for the Old Military Road, which is near Oldboleys. Once you disembark, follow the signs for hiking trails or ask locals for directions towards the Featherbeds, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.

If you enjoy walking, you can hike from Bray to Featherbeds. Start at the Bray Seafront and head towards the Bray Head. Follow the trail up Bray Head until you reach the top. From there, continue along the trail that leads towards the Wicklow Mountains. You will need to navigate some paths, and it may take around 1.5 to 2 hours to reach Featherbeds, depending on your pace. Make sure to bring water and wear appropriate hiking shoes.

Take the DART train from Bray Station towards Dublin. Get off at the Kilcoole Station. From Kilcoole Station, you will need to catch the 184 bus towards Wicklow Town. Get off at the stop for the Old Military Road. From there, follow the signs for hiking trails or ask around for directions. It is a short walk to Featherbeds from the bus stop.
