Car
If you are driving from Wicklow Town, take the N11 road northbound. Follow the signs for Dublin and stay on the N11 for approximately 35 km until you reach the junction for the R113 exit toward Shankill/Sandycove. Merge onto the R113 and continue until you reach the seaside area of Sandycove. Look for parking options along the coast, as spaces can be limited during peak times.
Public Transportation
To get to Sandycove by public transport from Bray, head to Bray DART station and take a northbound DART train towards Dublin. After about 15 minutes, disembark at the Dún Laoghaire station. From there, take Bus 45 or 75 towards Shankill and ask the driver to let you off at the nearest stop to Sandycove. Upon getting off the bus, follow the signs towards the coast; Sandycove is a short walk away.
Car
If you are coming from Greystones, take the R762 road towards Bray, then merge onto the N11 heading north. Continue on the N11 for about 12 km and take the exit for the R113 towards Shankill/Sandycove. Follow the R113 until you reach Sandycove and look for parking along the coast.
Public Transportation
From Wicklow Town, catch a bus to Bray. Once in Bray, take the DART northbound towards Dublin. Alight at Dún Laoghaire station and transfer to bus 45 or 75 towards Shankill, getting off at the closest stop to Sandycove. Walk towards the sea; Sandycove is a popular seaside area.
