From Drogheda town center, walk to the nearest bus stop at the Drogheda Bus Station on the Donore Road. Take the Bus Eireann route 100 towards Dublin. Stay on the bus for approximately 35-40 minutes until you reach the Dublin Bus Stop at Heuston Station. From Heuston Station, transfer to the Luas tram line Red Line towards Tallaght and get off at the Museum stop. The Irish Museum of Modern Art is a short walk from the tram stop.

Head to Drogheda Train Station located on the Dublin Road. Take a train towards Dublin Connolly Station. The journey will take about 30-35 minutes. Once you arrive at Dublin Connolly, exit the station and walk to Busaras (the bus station) located nearby. From Busaras, take the Bus 123 route towards Kilmainham. Get off at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham stop, which is just a short walk from the Irish Museum of Modern Art.
