If you are driving from the center of Kildare Town, take the N7 motorway towards Dublin. Continue on the N7 for approximately 35 km until you reach the junction for the M50. Merge onto the M50 motorway towards the south, and follow the signs for the N4 towards the City Center. Take exit 7 for the N4 towards the City Center. Continue on the N4 until you reach the junction with the R110. Follow the R110 for about 1 km, and then turn right onto Military Road. The Royal Hospital Kilmainham will be on your left after about 500 meters.

From Kildare Town, take a bus to Dublin City Center. Bus services such as the 126 or 67 operate frequently. Once you arrive at Dublin City Center, head to Heuston Station. From Heuston Station, you can take a local bus such as the 51 or 78 towards Kilmainham. Get off at the stop closest to Military Road. The Royal Hospital Kilmainham is a short walk from the bus stop; just head towards Military Road and you will see the entrance.

If you are coming from Naas, take the N7 towards Dublin. After approximately 20 km, take the exit for the M50 towards the south. Merge onto the M50 and follow the signs for the N4 towards City Center. Continue on the N4 until you reach the junction with the R110. Turn right onto the R110 and then take a left onto Military Road. The Royal Hospital Kilmainham will be on your left after approximately 500 meters.
