From Ennis, head to the Ennis Bus Station located on Station Road. Take the Bus Éireann route 343 towards Kilmurry. The bus ride to Kilmurry takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Kilmurry, disembark at the stop closest to the Craggaunowen Castle & Crannóg, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Head east on the main road (R463) and follow the signs for Craggaunowen Castle.

If you prefer to walk from the center of Ennis to Craggaunowen Castle & Crannóg, start at the Market Square in Ennis. Walk south on O'Connell Street and continue onto the R469. Follow the R469 for about 4 kilometers (approximately 1 hour of walking). As you approach Kilmurry, look for signs directing you to Craggaunowen. The castle is situated on your left along the road.
