Car
From Glendalough, head north on the R756 road towards Laragh. Continue on R756 until you reach the junction with the R115. Turn left onto the R115 and continue for approximately 15 kilometers. You will see signs for Howth. Follow the signs to Howth and park at the Howth Summit parking area. From the parking lot, follow the footpath leading up to the peak of Howth Hill, which is clearly marked.

Public Transportation
Begin your journey at Glendalough by taking a bus to Dublin city. Use the Glendalough Explorer bus service (check the schedule for availability). Once in Dublin, transfer to the DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit) train service from Pearse Station. Take the DART towards Howth and disembark at Howth Station. From the station, it is a 30-minute walk to the Howth Summit parking area where you can access the footpath to the top of Howth Hill.
