Once in Clifden, take the R341 road towards Aille. After approximately 10 kilometers, you will come to an unnamed road on your left. Turn onto this road, and continue for about 1 kilometer. The Lochán Beag sea mine explosion monument will be on your right. There is no designated parking, but you can park safely along the road.

To reach Lochán Beag by public transport, take a bus from Galway city center to Clifden. Bus Eireann operates services on this route, and the journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Clifden, you can either walk (approximately 10 kilometers) or take a taxi to the Lochán Beag sea mine explosion monument. If you choose to walk, head towards the R341 road and follow it for about 10 kilometers until you see the unnamed road on your left. The monument will be about 1 kilometer down that road.
