    From the center of Salthill, head towards the promenade that runs along the coast. Walk west along the promenade, enjoying the views of Galway Bay. Continue walking for about 30 minutes until you reach the end of the promenade. At the end, you will see the junction with the R336 road. Cross the road and proceed onto the R336 (Clare Road) heading towards Spiddal. Continue along the R336 for approximately 2.5 kilometers until you reach a bus stop for the number 424 bus.

    At the bus stop on the R336, board the number 424 bus towards Miltown Malbay. The bus will take you through scenic countryside. After about 15 minutes, disembark at the Murrooghtoohy stop. From the bus stop, you'll need to walk a short distance to the Wild Atlantic Way Discovery Point @Murrooghtoohy, which is approximately a 5-minute walk. Follow the signs indicating the Discovery Point.

    Once you disembark the bus, head southwest along the path towards the coast, following the signs for the Wild Atlantic Way Discovery Point.
