Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in Akko's central area, start by heading towards the port area. Look for the signs directing you towards the sea. Walk along the waterfront promenade until you reach the entrance to The Old City, which is marked by a large gate known as the 'Akko Fortress Gate'. This gate is hard to miss and offers a scenic view of the Mediterranean.

    From the bus station in Akko, exit the terminal and head south on HaHagana Street. Continue straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the end of HaHagana Street. Turn left onto Hativat Golani Street and follow the road until you see the entrance to The Old City. The entrance will be marked with signs.

    If you're coming from nearby Haifa, take bus number 921 from the Haifa Central Bus Station towards Akko. Once you arrive at the Akko Bus Station, exit and follow the walking directions mentioned earlier to reach The Old City.
