Getting There

• Walking

  From the Ein Gedi Kibbutz, head towards the main road (Route 90). Continue walking south along the path that leads towards the Ein Gedi Nature Reserve. You will see signage directing you toward the reserve. Once you reach the entrance of the nature reserve, continue walking straight ahead. After about 10-15 minutes, you will see a small road branching off to your left. Follow this road, which will lead you towards the cemetery area. The Ein Gedi Cemetery is located within the grounds of the nature reserve, and you may need to ask a local guide for the exact path to the cemetery as it can be somewhat secluded.

• Walking

  If you are near the Ein Gedi Spa, exit the spa grounds and head towards the main entrance of the Ein Gedi Nature Reserve. Turn left and walk along the path that leads into the reserve. After approximately 10 minutes, you will encounter a fork in the road. Take the right path which will lead you towards the cemetery. Look for local markers or signs that indicate the direction to the cemetery. It is advisable to speak with staff at the spa for the best route.

• Walking

  If starting from the Dead Sea area, walk towards the entrance of Ein Gedi Nature Reserve. Once you enter the reserve, proceed directly along the main trail. After about a 20-minute walk, keep an eye out for a turnoff to your left that leads towards the cemetery. Follow this path, which may have limited signage, but ask any fellow hikers for guidance if needed. The cemetery is located in a quiet area of the reserve, offering a scenic view.
