Getting There

  • Car

    If you're traveling by car, start from any point in the Galilee region and head south towards Jerusalem. Use Route 65 to connect to Route 6, which is a toll road. Continue on Route 6 until you reach the exit for Route 1 towards Jerusalem. Follow signs to Jerusalem, and then to the Old City area. Once you are in the Old City, park at one of the designated parking lots such as the Mamilla Mall parking or the Jaffa Gate parking area. From there, it's a short walk to the Tower of David.

  • Public Transportation - Bus

    For public transportation, take a bus from any town in the Galilee region to Jerusalem. Buses to Jerusalem are frequent, and you can catch them from major bus stations like Nazareth or Tiberias. Once you arrive at the Jerusalem Central Bus Station, transfer to light rail or bus lines that go to the Old City. Lines 1 and 38 are good options. Get off at the 'City Hall' or 'Jaffa Gate' stops, and from there, it’s a short walk to the Tower of David.
