Walking
If you are near the Old City of Jerusalem, head towards the Jaffa Gate. From the Jaffa Gate, walk straight through the bustling streets of the Old City. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the Armenian Quarter. Continue straight, and you will find the Lion's Gate on your left, marked by its impressive stone archway.
Public Transport - Bus
If you are starting from the city center, take bus number 1 or 75 from the Central Bus Station. The bus will take you to the Damascus Gate. From the Damascus Gate, walk for about 10 minutes along Sultan Suleiman Street until you reach the Lions' Gate, which will be on your right.
Walking
From the Western Wall, exit through the Dung Gate. Once outside, take a right and walk along the wall for about 5 minutes. The Lion's Gate will be directly ahead as you approach the Old City's eastern side.
Public Transport - Light Rail
If you are near the Mahane Yehuda Market, take the light rail towards the City Center and get off at the 'City Hall' stop. From there, walk towards the Jaffa Gate, then follow the previous instructions to reach the Lion's Gate.
Walking
If you are staying near the Mount of Olives, head west down the main path until you reach the Kidron Valley. Cross the valley and then walk up towards the Old City. You will reach the Lion's Gate after a short walk which will take about 20 minutes.
