If you're driving, start from the nearest main road, Route 90. Head east towards the Judean Desert. Follow the signs toward Ein Gedi and continue until you reach the junction near the Dead Sea. From there, take Route 31 east. After about 15 km, turn left onto Route 90 again. Continue north for about 5 km and look for signs directing you towards the Cave of Letters. The cave is located at coordinates 31.430551, 35.347586, and there is a small parking area nearby.

To reach the Cave of Letters using public transportation, take a bus from Jerusalem to Ein Gedi. The Egged bus company operates several routes throughout the day. Once you arrive at Ein Gedi, you will need to take a taxi to the Cave of Letters, as public transport does not go directly to the site. The taxi ride will take about 15 minutes and should cost around 100-150 NIS. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.
