Getting There

  • Bus

    From the center of Modi'in, head to the Modi'in Central Bus Station. Look for buses heading to Jerusalem; you can take either the 49 or the 154 bus. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Jerusalem Central Bus Station, follow the signs to the light rail station. Take the light rail towards 'Mount Herzl' and get off at the 'City Hall' stop. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers to reach the Mount of Olives.

  • Train and Bus

    Start at Modi'in's train station. Take the train towards Tel Aviv and get off at the 'Ben Gurion Airport' station. From there, transfer to a train heading to Jerusalem. Once you arrive at the Jerusalem train station, exit and take the bus number 75 or 77 towards 'Mount of Olives'. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes, and you'll get off close to the Mount of Olives.

  • Walking

    If you are near the center of Modi'in, you can also walk to the nearby parks and take a scenic route. However, this method is not recommended due to the distance (approximately 15 kilometers) to Jerusalem. If you choose to walk, head towards the south of Modi'in, following local paths and signs leading towards Jerusalem. This will take a few hours, but you will have the chance to enjoy the scenery along the way.
