If you are traveling by car, take the SS49 highway from the town of Dobbiaco (Toblach) towards the village of Prags (Braies). After approximately 12 km, you will see signs for Lago di Braies. Follow the signs and park in the designated parking area. Please note that there is a parking fee of around €7 per day. From the parking lot, it is a short walk to the lake.

If you are using public transportation, take a train to Dobbiaco (Toblach) station. From there, you can catch a local bus (Line 442) heading to Prags (Braies). The bus journey takes about 30 minutes. You will need to pay for the bus ticket, which costs approximately €4. Get off at the Lago di Braies stop, and from there, it is a short walk to the lake.
