Getting There

  • Car

    From Aosta Valley, take the A5 motorway towards Turin. Follow the signs for Aosta and continue on the A5 until you reach the exit for Chatillon-Saint Vincent. After exiting, follow the signs for Chatillon, then take the SR47 towards Cervinia. Continue on this road until you reach the turn-off for Zermatt. Note that Zermatt is a car-free village; you will need to park your car in Täsch, which has a large parking facility. The cost to park in Täsch is approximately €15 per day. From Täsch, take the shuttle train (Zermatt Shuttle) to Zermatt, which takes about 12 minutes and costs around €8 one way.
