If you are starting from the Piazza del Comune, head east towards Via Bartolo. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via San Francesco. Turn right onto Via San Francesco, and follow this street until you see the Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi ahead. The walk will take approximately 15-20 minutes.

From the Assisi Train Station, exit the station and head towards the bus stop located just outside. Take the bus line E that goes to 'Piazza San Francesco.'
