If you are starting from the Assisi train station, exit the station and head towards the main road (Via Giovanni XXIII). Turn right onto Via Giovanni XXIII and follow the road until you reach the intersection with Viale Marconi. Continue straight onto Viale Marconi, which will lead you into the town center. As you walk, you will see signs pointing towards the Basilica di San Francesco. Keep heading towards the Basilica, and once you reach it, the path will lead you into the heart of Assisi. Continue to follow the signs for the Piazza Unità d'Italia, walking through the charming streets filled with shops and cafes. The Piazza will be on your right, adjacent to the main historic area.

If you are near the Basilica di Santa Chiara, exit the Basilica and head towards the main street (Via Santa Chiara). Walk down Via Santa Chiara until you reach the junction at Via San Francesco. Turn left onto Via San Francesco and continue straight. You will pass by several shops and cafes. Keep your eyes peeled for signs directing you towards Piazza Unità d'Italia. After a short walk, you will arrive at the Piazza, which is a lovely open area perfect for relaxing and enjoying the views.

From the main square of Assisi, Piazza del Comune, walk east towards the Corso Mazzini. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Via del Comune Vecchio. Turn left here and follow this road as it curves slightly. This will lead you directly into the area of Piazza Unità d'Italia. This route will take you through the historical center, allowing you to experience the beautiful architecture and atmosphere of Assisi.

If you are coming from the Hotel Giotto, exit the hotel and turn right onto Via dei Martiri. Walk straight, then turn left onto Viale Umberto I. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Via del Vescovado. Turn right and follow this road, which will lead you toward the main historical area. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Piazza Unità d'Italia. After a few minutes of walking, you will arrive at the Piazza.
