Bus
From Bergamo, head to the Bergamo bus station located near the lower city (Città Bassa). Take the bus to Milan, specifically the lines operated by either FlixBus or Autostradale. The journey will take approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at the Milan bus station (Milano Lampugnano), exit the station and look for the metro signs. Take Metro Line 1 (Red Line) towards Sesto 1 Maggio FS and get off at the Duomo station. Upon exiting the station, follow the signs to the Duomo, which is just a short walk away.

Train
Make your way to the Bergamo train station (Stazione di Bergamo) located in the city center. Purchase a ticket to Milano Centrale. The train ride will take about 50 minutes. When you arrive at Milano Centrale, follow the signs to the Metro. Take Metro Line 3 (Yellow Line) towards Duomo. Once you reach the Duomo station, exit and follow the signs to the Duomo, which is directly outside the station.

Walking
If you are staying in the vicinity of the Città Alta (Upper Town) of Bergamo, you can enjoy a scenic walk to the funicular station located near Viale Vittorio Emanuele II. Take the funicular down to the Città Bassa. Once at the bottom, head towards the bus or train stations as mentioned above, and proceed to Milan using either the bus or train as described.
