Getting There

    From Cortina d'Ampezzo, take the SS51 road heading north towards Dobbiaco. After approximately 30 minutes, you will reach the junction for the SS49 road. Turn left onto SS49 and follow the signs for 'Braies'. Continue on SS49 for about 10 km until you reach the town of Braies. In Braies, follow the signs to Lake Braies, which will lead you to Frazione Braies di Fuori. There is parking available near the lake, but be prepared to pay a parking fee, which is usually around €5 for the day.
