Walking
If you're starting from the Lucca Train Station, exit the station and head towards the city center. Turn left onto Via Giuseppe Mazzini and continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the city walls. Enter the historic center through Porta San Pietro. Once inside the walls, continue straight on Via Fillungo, the main shopping street. After approximately 500 meters, you'll reach Piazza San Giovanni. The Chiesa dei Santi Giovanni e Reparata will be on your right, at the corner of the Piazza.

From the Basilica di San Frediano, head southeast on Via della Chiesa towards Piazza San Frediano. After a short walk, take a left onto Via dell'Anfiteatro. Continue straight until you reach the end of the street and take a right onto Via Fillungo. Walk about 300 meters, and then turn left onto Piazza San Giovanni. The Chiesa dei Santi Giovanni e Reparata will be located on the right side of the square.

Walk straight for about 400 meters until you reach Piazza San Giovanni. Look for the Chiesa dei Santi Giovanni e Reparata on your right side as you approach the square.
