If you are in the city center of Lucca, head towards Via Fillungo, the main shopping street. Once there, walk straight until you reach the intersection with Piazza San Michele. Take a left onto Piazza San Michele and continue walking. You will see the beautiful San Michele in Foro church on your right. Continue walking straight until you exit the square, then turn right onto Via del Fosso. Walk straight until you reach the end of the street, and you will find yourself at Piazza XX Settembre, where the Monumento ai Caduti per la Patria is located. The monument is situated in the center of the square.

You can take any bus that stops at the main station (Stazione di Lucca). From the bus stop, walk towards the city center, following the signs to the historic center.
