From the Lucca city walls, head towards Porta San Pietro. Once you exit through the gate, turn left onto Via di San Pietro. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Roma. Turn right onto Via Roma and walk until you reach Piazza Napoleone. From there, head towards the train station (Stazione di Lucca) which is about a 10-minute walk. Once at the station, take a train to Pisa Centrale, which takes about 30 minutes. Upon arriving at Pisa Centrale, exit the station and follow the signs for the bus terminal. Take bus number 21 towards 'Pisa - Via Giusti'. Get off at the stop 'Giusti 1'. From there, it's a short walk to Via Giuseppe Giusti, where the Birthplace of Galileo Galilei is located.
