Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the heart of the Duomo area, you are just steps away from the Duomo di Milano. From any point in the square (P.za del Duomo), simply head towards the iconic cathedral building. The stunning facade will guide you directly. Look for the large spires and the main entrance, which is hard to miss. It's a central landmark, and you can’t get lost as the square is quite open.

• Public Transport (Metro)

  If you find yourself a bit further away, you can take the Milan Metro. The nearest metro station is 'Duomo' on Line 1 (Red Line) and Line 3 (Yellow Line). Simply board the metro and ride to the Duomo stop. The station is directly beneath the square, and once you exit, you will see the cathedral right in front of you. A single ticket costs €2.00.

• Walking from Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II

  If you’re visiting the nearby Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, it’s a short walk to the Duomo. Exit the Galleria and head towards the square. The Duomo will be directly in front of you as you step out from the Galleria. This should take around 5 minutes.

• Tram

  You can also reach the Duomo area using trams. Look for tram stops that serve lines 1, 3, 12, or 19. Board any tram heading towards the Duomo stop (the stop is called 'Duomo'). A single tram ticket costs €2.00, and the journey should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
