Walking
From the Amphitheatre of Pompeii, exit towards the main pathway leading out of the amphitheater. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via dell'Abbondanza. Turn right onto Via dell'Abbondanza and proceed until you reach the fork in the road. At the fork, take the left path onto Viale delle Ginestre. Continue walking for about 10 minutes, and you will see the entrance to Scavi di Pompei on your right. The walk is approximately 800 meters and should take around 15 minutes.

Public Transport (Bus)
If you prefer not to walk, you can take a local bus. From the Amphitheatre, walk to the nearest bus stop at Piazza Anfiteatro. Look for the SITA bus service that operates towards Scavi di Pompei. The bus number to take is 1. The fare is approximately €2.00. The journey will take about 5 minutes, and you will need to get off at the stop closest to Viale delle Ginestre. After getting off, walk about 5 minutes to the entrance of Scavi di Pompei, which will be on your left.
