    From the center of Pompeii, head towards the 'Pompei' train station (Stazione di Pompei). Exit the archaeological site and turn left onto Via Villa dei Misteri. Walk straight until you reach the train station. Take the Circumvesuviana train towards Sorrento and get off at the Ottaviano station (approximately 25 minutes). Upon exiting the Ottaviano station, turn left onto Corso Umberto I and continue straight until you reach Via Recupe. Turn right onto Via Recupe and follow the signs to Valle dell'Inferno and Lungo i Cognoli path. The path entrance is located in the National Park of Vesuvius.
