Continue straight until you reach the Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano. From there, walk towards Via Merulana and follow it until you reach the intersection with Via dell'Acqua Paola. Turn left onto Via dell'Acqua Paola, then continue until you reach the Tiber River. Cross the river at Ponte Palatino and walk along Lungotevere in Sassia towards the Trastevere area. Once in Trastevere, head to the Viale di Trastevere and follow it until you reach Piazza dei Cavalieri di Malta. The entrance to the Giardino Storico di Sant' Alessio, where the keyhole is located, is at Piazza dei Cavalieri di Malta, 3.
