From the Vatican Pinacoteca, exit the building and head towards the main entrance of the Vatican Museums. Once outside, walk straight down Viale Vaticano until you reach the intersection with Via della Storia. Turn left onto Via della Storia and continue walking. You'll pass by several beautiful buildings and gardens. Keep walking straight until you reach Via di San Giovanni in Laterano. Turn right onto Via di San Giovanni in Laterano and continue walking. After about 10 minutes, you will see the Circus Maximus Mithraeum on your left at Piazza della Bocca della Verità, 16.

From the Vatican Pinacoteca, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Viale Vaticano. Take bus number 81 towards 'Stazione Termini'. After about 15 minutes, get off at the stop 'Circo Massimo'. From there, walk towards the Circus Maximus Mithraeum. Head northwest on Via del Circo Massimo and you will see the Mithraeum entrance at Piazza della Bocca della Verità, 16.
