Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are near the Trevi Fountain, start by heading southwest on Via delle Muratte toward Piazza di Trevi. Continue straight for about 350 meters until you reach Piazza Venezia. From there, find the Via del Corso and walk down this main shopping street for about 600 meters. Look for the intersection with Via delle Botteghe Oscure; turn left onto this street. After about 200 meters, turn right onto Via Rasella. You will find the site of the Partisan attack at number 45.

    From Termini Station, take Metro Line A (the orange line) toward Battistini. Get off at the Barberini station (which is about 4 stops). Exit the station and head northeast on Via del Tritone. Continue straight until you reach Piazza Barberini. From Piazza Barberini, take Via Rasella, which is located right next to the fountain in the square. Walk down Via Rasella for about 300 meters, and you will arrive at number 45, the site of the Partisan attack.

    If you are at the Pantheon, exit and head east on Via della Rotonda toward Piazza della Minerva. From there, turn right onto Via dei Pastini and continue straight until you reach Largo di Torre Argentina. At the square, turn left onto Via di Torre Argentina, and then take the first right onto Via del Teatro di Pompeo. Continue straight until you reach Via della Gatta, where you will turn left. This road will lead you to Via Rasella. Walk straight until you reach number 45, the location of the Partisan attack.

    From the Colosseum, walk to the nearby Metro station, Colosseo. Take Metro Line B (the blue line) toward Rebibbia. Get off at the next stop, Circo Massimo. Exit the station and head toward Piazza di Porta Capena. From there, catch Bus 81 toward Stazione Termini. Get off at the stop called 'Via del Tritone'. Walk northeast on Via del Tritone, then turn right onto Via Rasella. The site will be on your right at number 45.
