From Taormina, head to the Taormina bus station located near the cable car station. Look for the bus heading to Messina. Purchase a ticket from the ticket booth or the bus driver. The journey to Messina will take approximately 50 minutes. Stay alert for your stop, which will be the Messina bus terminal.

Walking
Once you arrive at the Messina bus terminal, exit the terminal and head towards Via Giuseppe Garibaldi. Walk straight until you reach the waterfront. You will see signs pointing towards Terminal Traghetti. Follow these signs, and you will reach Porto Messina in about 15-20 minutes on foot.

If you prefer to take a train, walk to the Messina Centrale train station from the bus terminal. Follow signs to the train station, which is about a 10-minute walk. Board a train heading towards Messina if you are coming from another nearby location. After arriving at the Messina Centrale, follow the walking directions to Porto Messina as mentioned above.
