If you are driving from the Venetian Riviera, take the A57 motorway towards Venice. Follow the signs for 'Venezia' and then 'Centro Storico'. Upon reaching Venice, you will need to park your car. The closest parking garages are at Piazzale Roma. Parking here costs around €30 for a day. After parking, walk towards the Vaporetto (water bus) stop at Piazzale Roma.

Take the Vaporetto Line 1 or Line 2 from Piazzale Roma towards 'San Marco' or 'Rialto'. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'San Marco' stop. From the Vaporetto stop, it's a short walk to St Mark's Campanile.

If you are using public transportation, you can take a train to Santa Lucia train station in Venice. From the station, walk to the nearby Piazzale Roma (about a 20-minute walk) or take a Vaporetto from the station directly to San Marco. If you choose the Vaporetto, take Line 1 or 2 to 'San Marco'.
