Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Piazza San Marco, head towards the Basilica di San Marco. From the basilica, take the exit towards the Campanile (bell tower). Walk straight towards the Campanile and then turn left onto Salizzada San Provolo. Continue straight until you reach Campo San Gallo, which is located just off Sotoportego del Cavalletto. Look for the small square, and you will see Campo San Gallo on your left.

    If you are at the Rialto Bridge, exit the bridge and head straight down Salizzada San Giovanni. Continue straight until you reach Campo San Bortolomio. From here, take the first right onto Salizzada San Lio. Follow this street until you reach Campo San Gallo, which will be on your right. Look for the signs pointing towards Sotoportego del Cavalletto.

    If you are near the Accademia Gallery, exit the gallery and head towards the Accademia Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue straight down Calle Lunga San Barnaba. Turn left onto Calle della Madonna and continue until you reach Campo San Gallo. It is a short walk from here, just follow the signs to Sotoportego del Cavalletto.

    If you are using the Vaporetto (waterbus), take Line 1 or Line 2 and get off at the San Marco Vallaresso stop. From there, walk towards Piazza San Marco, then follow the walking directions provided from Piazza San Marco to Campo San Gallo.
