If you're traveling by car, start in the city of Aomori and take the Tōhoku Expressway (E4) heading towards Towada. After approximately 90 minutes, take the exit for Towada (Towada IC) and follow Route 102 towards Towada City. Continue on Route 102 for about 20 km until you reach Okuse. Look for signs directing you to Choshio Falls, which is located in the Okuse area of Towada. There is a parking area available near the falls where you can safely leave your car.

For those using public transportation, start by taking a train from Aomori Station to Towada Station on the Ou Main Line. This journey takes approximately 1 hour. From Towada Station, you can take a local bus (Towada Kanko Bus) towards Okuse. The bus ride will take around 30 minutes, and you should get off at the Choshio Falls stop. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance as services may be limited, especially on weekends.
