Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Buzen. Head south on Route 10 towards Shimonoseki. After approximately 30 minutes, take the exit towards Yamaguchi. Continue on Route 2 for about 10 minutes, and then merge onto Route 191. Follow the signs for Akama Jingu. The shrine is located at 4-1 Amidaijicho, Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi 750-0003. There is parking available near the shrine, but be aware that it can fill up quickly, especially on weekends.

Public Transportation
To reach Akama Jingu using public transportation, start from the Buzen city center and take the Nishitetsu bus bound for Shimonoseki. The bus ride takes approximately 50 minutes. After arriving at Shimonoseki Station, transfer to a local bus that goes to Akama Jingu. The local bus ride will take around 10 minutes. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance as the frequency may vary, especially on weekends. A one-way bus ticket costs around 500 yen.
