From Hakata Bus Terminal in Fukuoka, take the direct bus to Dazaifu. From the Dazaifu bus stop, it is a 10-minute walk to the Kyushu National Museum. The bus fare is approximately ¥700. Alternatively, take the train from Nishitetsu Fukuoka Station to Nishitetsu Futsukaichi Station, then transfer to the Nishitetsu Dazaifu Line to Dazaifu Station. The train fare is approximately ¥420. From Dazaifu Station, walk 10-15 minutes to the museum.
