Car
From Buzen, take Route 10 towards Kitakyushu. After approximately 30 minutes of driving, follow the signs for Kanmon Bridge (Kanmon-kyo) and the Moji area. Once you reach the bridge, you will have stunning views of the Kanmon Strait. After crossing the bridge, take the Moji exit and follow the signs to Nishikaigan. The Kanmon Strait Museum is located at 1 Chome-3-3 Nishikaigan, Moji Ward, Kitakyushu. There is parking available near the museum, but be prepared for a small fee.

Start by taking a local bus from Buzen to Moji Station. The journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Moji Station, transfer to a local bus heading towards Nishikaigan. The museum is a short walk from the nearest bus stop. Keep in mind that bus schedules may vary, so check the timetable in advance. There may be a small fare for both bus rides, typically around 500 yen in total.

Combination of Train and Bus
Travel to the nearest train station in Buzen and take a train to Kokura Station (approximately 25 minutes). From Kokura Station, transfer to the JR Moji Line towards Moji. After about 10 minutes, get off at Moji Station. From there, take a local bus to Nishikaigan, where the Kanmon Strait Museum is located. The total travel time will be around 1 hour, and expect to pay for both the train and bus fares, which will total about 800 yen.
