Getting There

    From the center of Buzen, head south on Route 10 towards Beppu. Continue on Route 10 for approximately 30 km until you reach Beppu. When you arrive in Beppu, follow signs for Kannawa. Turn left onto Route 11 and then take a right onto Kannawa Street. Continue straight for about 2 km, and you will find Oniyama Jigoku at 625 Kannawa, Beppu, Oita 874-0041. There is parking available on-site, but be aware that there may be a parking fee.

    From Buzen Station, take the JR Nippo Line towards Oita. Get off at Beppu Station (approximately 30 minutes). From Beppu Station, transfer to the Beppu City Bus (Kamenoi Bus) service heading towards Kannawa. You can take the 'Kannawa' route, which will take about 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Oniyama Jigoku' bus stop, which is directly in front of the attraction. The total cost for the bus from Beppu Station to Oniyama Jigoku is around 460 yen.
