Car
If you are traveling by car from the center of Buzen, head northwest on Route 10. Continue on Route 10 for approximately 30 km until you reach Kitakyushu. Once in Kitakyushu, follow the signs for Yahatanishi Ward. Use your GPS to navigate to 1 Chome-9-番 Yashiki, Yahatanishi Ward, Kitakyushu, Fukuoka 806-0006. Parking may be available nearby, but please check local signs for any requirements or fees.
Public Transportation - Train
From Buzen, take the Nishitetsu train from Buzen Station to Chikuzen-Maebara Station. Transfer to the JR Kagoshima Main Line and travel towards Kokura Station. At Kokura Station, transfer to the JR Heisei Chikuho Line towards Naoetsu, and get off at Yashiki Station. From Yashiki Station, it's about a 15-minute walk to the Site of Kurosaki Castle. Follow the signs towards the castle and use a map app for assistance.
Public Transportation - Bus
From Buzen, take the Nishitetsu bus to Kitakyushu. Once you arrive in Kitakyushu, transfer to a local bus that heads to Yahatanishi Ward. Get off at the nearest bus stop to 1 Chome-9-番 Yashiki, and from there, it’s a short 5-10 minute walk to the Site of Kurosaki Castle. Check the bus schedules beforehand as they may vary, and keep some change for the bus fare, which is usually around 500 yen.
