Car
If you are driving, start from central Etchu and head north on Route 41. Continue straight for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 8. Turn left onto Route 8 and proceed for another 2 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Toyama city center. Once you enter Toyama, follow the signs for Kibamachi. After about 1 kilometer, you will see the Toyama Prefectural Museum of Art and Design on your right at 3-20 Kibamachi. There is parking available nearby.

To reach the Toyama Prefectural Museum of Art and Design by public transportation, start by taking a train from Etchu Station to Toyama Station. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Toyama Station, exit the station and take bus number 11 towards Kibamachi. Get off at the Kibamachi stop, which is about a 10-minute ride. From the bus stop, walk approximately 5 minutes to the museum located at 3-20 Kibamachi. The museum will be on your left side.
