Getting There

    Start your journey at Hakata Station, the main train station in Fukuoka. Take a local train on the JR Sasaguri Line towards Sasaguri Station. The train ride takes approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Sasaguri Station, exit the station and head towards the bus stop located just outside the station. Look for bus number 70 or 71, which will take you closer to Matsugase Jizo-do. Ride the bus for about 10 minutes and get off at the Matsugase Jizo-do stop. From the bus stop, walk about 5 minutes to reach the temple at 483 Sasaguri, Kasuya District, Fukuoka 811-2405.

  • Walking from Sasaguri Station

    If you prefer to walk from Sasaguri Station, exit the station and head northwest on Route 3. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers, which will take around 20-25 minutes. You will pass through a residential area, and you can follow the signs leading to Matsugase Jizo-do. The temple is located at 483 Sasaguri, Kasuya District, which will be on your left-hand side as you approach the area.
