Car
If you are driving from anywhere in Chikuzen, simply get onto Route 3 (also known as the Fukuoka Prefectural Road) heading towards Fukuoka City. Stay on Route 3 for approximately 30 minutes. Once you approach Fukuoka City, follow the signs for Chuo Ward. Look for signs directing you to Maizuru Park. The park is located at 2-2 Jonai, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka, 810-0043. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that parking fees may apply, typically around ¥300 per hour.

Public Transportation - Train
To reach Maizuru Park using public transportation, head to Chikuzen's nearest train station, which is Chikuzen-Maebaru Station. Take the Nishitetsu Tenjin-Omuta Line towards Fukuoka (Tenjin Station). The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Tenjin Station, transfer to the Fukuoka City Subway and take the Kuko Line towards Fukuoka Airport. Get off at the Hakata Station, then transfer to the Hakozaki Line and get off at the Ohorikoen Station. From there, it is a 15-minute walk to Maizuru Park. Be sure to check train schedules as they may vary, and make sure to have about ¥800 for the total train fare.

Public Transportation - Bus
Alternatively, you can take a bus from Chikuzen to Fukuoka City. Board a Nishitetsu or JR bus that heads directly to Fukuoka. The journey usually takes about 40-50 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Fukuoka, ask for directions to Maizuru Park - Sannomaru Plaza. The bus fare is approximately ¥600. After getting off at the nearest bus stop, it is a short 10-minute walk to the park.
