If you are starting from Tenjin Station, take the Fukuoka City Subway (Kuko Line) towards Meinohama. Get off at Hakata Station (approximately 5 minutes). From Hakata Station, take the East Exit and walk towards the bus terminal. You can catch a local bus or walk. If you choose to walk, head southeast on Hakataekihigashidori for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Kamikawabatamachi. The Statue of Otojiro Kawakami will be located at 12 Kamikawabatamachi, on your right.

Walking
If you are nearby, you can reach the Statue of Otojiro Kawakami by walking. For instance, from the Hakata Riverain shopping complex, exit towards the river and walk along the riverside path heading north. Continue until you reach the intersection of Kamikawabatamachi. Turn left and walk for about 200 meters. The statue will be on your left at 12 Kamikawabatamachi.

Bus
From the Fukuoka Airport, take the Nishitetsu Bus No. 1 or No. 2 towards Hakata Station. After about 15 to 20 minutes, get off at the 'Kamikawabata' stop. From there, it's a short walk. Head southeast along Kamikawabatamachi for about 100 meters, and you will find the Statue of Otojiro Kawakami at 12 Kamikawabatamachi.
