If you are near Hakata Station, take the Kuko Line (Airport Line) towards Meinohama. Get off at the next stop, Nakasu-Kawabata Station. Once you exit the station, take Exit 3. After exiting, head straight until you reach the intersection, then turn left onto Nakasu Street. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes until you see the Hakata Machiya Hometown Museum on your right at 6-10 Reisenmachi.

From Hakata Station, go to the bus terminal located on the 1st floor of the station. Take the Nishitetsu Bus #100 or #5 towards Tenjin. Get off at the Reisenmachi stop. From the bus stop, walk straight for about 5 minutes; the Hakata Machiya Hometown Museum will be on your left at 6-10 Reisenmachi.

Cross the river using the Nakasu Bridge and continue walking straight. You will pass through the busy Nakasu district. Keep walking for about 20 minutes until you reach Reisenmachi. The museum will be on your right at 6-10 Reisenmachi.
