    Start by taking the Kuko Line (Fukuoka City Subway) from your nearest station. If you are in Tenjin, you can catch this line at Tenjin Station. Head towards the airport and get off at the next stop, which is 'Kokura'. From Kokura, transfer to the Nishitetsu Tenjin Omuta Line towards 'Tenjin' and get off at 'Tenjin Station'.

    Once you arrive at Tenjin Station, follow the signs to the Tenjin underground shopping area. Exit the shopping area at the 'Tenjin' exit. From here, head north for about 5 minutes towards the intersection of Tenjin and Chuo. You should see a large intersection with a lot of shops and restaurants. Continue straight until you reach Tenjin 1 Chome, then turn left at the first street. Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you see the entrance to Suikyo Tenmangu Shrine on your right.

    From Tenjin Station, locate the bus stop for Nishitetsu buses. Take the Nishitetsu Bus number 100 or 100A that is headed towards 'Tenjin'. After a short ride (approximately 5 minutes), get off at the 'Tenjin 1 Chome' stop. From there, walk north along the main road for about 5 minutes. Suikyo Tenmangu Shrine will be on your left side.
