Car
From Hakone, you will want to drive towards the Odawara area. Start by taking Route 1 from Hakone, which will lead you to the Tomei Expressway. Take the Tomei Expressway towards Yokohama. After approximately 30 km, take the Fujisawa Exit (Exit 23) and follow the signs for Enoshima. The drive should take around 50 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Fujisawa, you can park at one of the nearby parking lots (costs may vary, typically around ¥500-¥1,000 per day). From the parking, you can either walk to the Enoshima Island entrance or take a local bus.

Train
To reach Enoshima Island from Hakone using public transport, start by taking the Hakone Tozan Railway from Hakone-Yumoto Station to Odawara Station. The train ride takes about 15 minutes. From Odawara Station, transfer to the JR Tokaido Line and head towards Atami. After 4 stops, get off at Fujisawa Station. From Fujisawa Station, take the Enoden (Enoshima Electric Railway) towards Kamakura and get off at Enoshima Station. The whole journey takes around 1 hour and costs approximately ¥1,500. Once you arrive at Enoshima Station, follow the signs to the island, which is about a 10-minute walk.

If you prefer to use a bus, first, make your way to Odawara Station from Hakone by taking the Hakone Tozan Railway. At Odawara Station, find the bus terminal and take the Odakyu bus bound for Enoshima. The bus ride will take approximately 40-50 minutes and costs around ¥1,000. Once you arrive at Enoshima, follow the signs to the island entrance, which is a short walk away.
