Public Transportation
From Hakone, head to Odawara Station. You can take the Hakone Tozan Railway to get there. The train ride takes about 15 minutes and tickets cost approximately 400 yen. Once at Odawara Station, transfer to the JR Tokaido Line towards Atami. Ride for about 30 minutes until you reach Fujisawa Station. The fare is around 480 yen. Upon arriving at Fujisawa Station, take the Enoshima Electric Railway (Enoden) towards Enoshima. The ride takes about 20 minutes and costs about 230 yen. Get off at Enoshima Station.

Once you arrive at Enoshima Station, you will need to walk to Enoshima Shrine Nakatsunomiya. Exit the station and head towards the Enoshima Island entrance. After crossing the bridge, follow the signs leading to the shrine, which is located on the island about a 20-minute walk up the hill from the entrance. The path is well-marked and offers beautiful views along the way.

If you are traveling by car from Hakone, take Route 1 towards Fujisawa. The drive takes approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you reach Fujisawa, follow the signs for Enoshima. There are parking areas available near the Enoshima Island entrance; parking fees vary but will typically cost around 500-1000 yen for a few hours.

Alternatively, you can take the bus from Hakone to Odawara Station, which is about a 30-minute ride.
