Car
If you're driving from central Hida, head northwest on Route 158. Continue for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Route 41. Turn right onto Route 41 and continue for approximately 10 minutes. Look for signs directing you to Takayama. Once in Takayama, follow the signs to Horibatamachi. The Hida Gokoku Shrine is located at 90 Horibatamachi, and you can find parking nearby, though be aware there may be a small fee for parking.

Public Transportation (Bus)
From the Hida Takayama Station, take the Nohi Bus (bound for Takayama City) and get off at the 'Gokoku Shrine' stop. The bus ride takes about 10 minutes and costs approximately 300 yen. Once you disembark, the shrine is a short walk away. Follow the directional signs to reach the shrine entrance.

Walking (from Takayama city center)
If you're in the city center of Takayama, you can walk to Hida Gokoku Shrine, which is about a 20-minute walk. Head east on Route 158 from the Takayama Jinya, then turn left onto Horibatamachi. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers, and you will see the shrine on your right. This is a pleasant walk with local shops and cafes along the way.
