If you're traveling by car, start from central Hida City. Head northeast on Route 158 towards Takayama. After approximately 15 kilometers, take the exit towards Takayama City and follow the signs for Hie Shrine. The shrine is located at 156 Shiroyama, Takayama, Gifu 506-0822. There is parking available near the shrine. Please note that parking may incur a small fee, usually around 500 yen.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take the JR Takayama Line from Hida City Station to Takayama Station. The journey takes about 30 minutes and costs approximately 500 yen. Once you arrive at Takayama Station, exit the station and head towards the bus terminal. Take the Nohi Bus bound for Shiroyama, which departs every 30 minutes. The bus ride to Hie Shrine will take about 10 minutes. Alight at 'Hie Shrine' bus stop, which is right in front of the shrine.

If you prefer to walk from Takayama Station, it is about a 20-minute walk to Hie Shrine. Exit the station and head east on Route 158. Continue straight until you reach the intersection, then turn left onto Shiroyama Street. Follow the signs leading to Hie Shrine, which will be on your right. This scenic walk allows you to enjoy the local atmosphere.
