Car
If you are driving from Hida, follow Route 41 north towards Takayama. After about 30 minutes, take the exit towards Route 158. Continue on Route 158 for approximately 40 minutes until you reach Nanto City. Look for signs directing you to Ainokura. Once in Ainokura, follow the signs for Washi Paper Workshop, located at 835 Ainokura, Nanto, Toyama 939-1915. There is parking available near the workshop.

Public Transportation
To reach the Washi Paper Workshop using public transportation, start by taking a train from Hida to Takayama Station. From Takayama Station, board the Nohi Bus towards Nanto. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Get off at the Ainokura stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to the Washi Paper Workshop at 835 Ainokura, Nanto, Toyama 939-1915. Note that the bus fare is around 1,500 JPY one way.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Hida to the Washi Paper Workshop. The journey will take about 45 minutes, and the fare will be approximately 6,000 to 8,000 JPY depending on traffic conditions.
